Tonny Tulleners, 21, came to the United States from his birthplace: Rotterdam, Holland, in 1955. He was awarded a 1st-Dan Black Belt in karate in 1964 after winning 2nd place in the Brown Belt division of the International Karate Championships in Long Beach, Calif. He attends Pasadena City College in Calif. as a business administration major and works as chief instructor of the Karate Self Defense School at 382 N. Lake Ave. there. The school's mascot is an ocelot he recently obtained from South America.
